Dr. Mia Legato
Fuelled by her passion for health and well-being, Dr. Legato began her education in health care sciences at Nipissing University and Humber College where she completed her undergraduate degree in Physical and Health Education and her diploma in Occupational Therapy Assistant and Physiotherapy Assistant. It was during this time that she knew she wanted to provide manual therapy for patients which influenced her to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Legato has become committed to becoming an evidence-based, holistic practitioner through her comprehensive understanding of physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Alongside Dr. Legato’s chiropractic education, she has completed Neurofunctional Acupuncture training through McMaster University, which integrates the science of needling and the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions. She is also certified in the Webster Technique and has a special interest in pregnancy, pediatrics, and female care. Being a mother herself, she has first-hand experience of the impact of chiropractic care for her growing family.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Legato enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with her family. She is excited to start serving the Quinte region, where she was born and raised, and is committed to providing the most comprehensive care for her patients.

Dr. Lindy Mitchell BA, DC
Originally from Brighton ON, Dr. Lindy Mitchell completed her undergraduate degree at Western University receiving a Bachelor of Arts with Specialization in Kinesiology. She went on to obtain her Doctor of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and her certification in Neurofunctional Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. Dr. Lindy completed her clinical internship at the CMCC clinic in the Bowmanville Health Center before moving back home to begin her career. Dr. Lindy welcomes patients of all ages from infants to elderly. She has a special interest in women’s health and education. In addition, she is certified in the PIPS (Pediatric Intraoral Palate Specific) technique to assist with infant TMJD, tongue-tie rehabilitation and nursing challenges in infants. Dr. Lindy provides a variety of techniques including neurofunctional medical acupuncture, education and exercise rehabilitation, and manual therapies such as spinal manipulation, mobilizations, and soft tissue therapy. Dr. Lindy’s goal is to provide her patients with individualized chiropractic care, and the tools to continue targeted rehabilitation at home.
